Shyrdak is a decorative typeface inspired by Central Asian Felt Tapestries. Made in response to ISTD’s ‘Trade brief’, Shyrdak explores the symbolic motifs and visual storytelling within the art, each glyph being characteristically unique, to convey the nomadic nature of the region.
